My Delusion: That maple syrup has superpowers!
I am a simple Canadian guy from Montreal who just wants to share his light. Oprah says people like me have a "servant heart". My name in Greek means "healer", and I am determined to share my light and healing with as many as I can!
Steven Jae Won Han
Vice President of Internal Affairs
Fun Fact: I am a Halloween Baby!
It is an honor to be a part of an organization that champions humanism and empathy in healthcare, a place rooted in these two core values. I was born and raised in the New York City area, and I love food, travel and long walks, especially in nature.

Priya Mallikarjuna
Vice President of Projects
Favorite Pastime: Scouting new coffee shops to fuel my addiction.
Hi everyone! I grew up in New York but my heart is set to travel to underserved communities within the United States and abroad where hope is needed the most. We have such a privilege to practice medicine and bring light into the lives of our patients!

Matthew Heckroth
Vice President of Finance
Superpower: Reaching things on the top shelf.
I am originally from Tallahassee, FL. I played college baseball until 2 shoulder surgeries put an end to my playing days. I enjoy hanging out with my wife, Florida State football and any Will Ferrell movie. My goal is to match into Internal Medicine and become a Gastroenterologist.

Katie Ross
Vice President of Social Media
Favorite Disney Movie: Beauty and the Beast
Hey y’all! I was born and raised in a small town in South Florida. I live to serve others and help in any way that I can. I also love kids, furry animals, and decorating cookies. I want to spend the rest of my life helping the kiddos in some way, either general pediatrician or a pediatric specialist some day.

Heather Bergdahl
Vice President of National Affairs
My Mantra: High expectations are the key to everything!
I was born in Texas and I plan to practice internal medicine in “The Lone Star State.” I believe that when the human body comes under attack the human spirit is often diminished or suppressed, but it is always still there. Being a doctor is my opportunity to help heal the human body and help unleash that indomitable human spirit once again!

Tom Hargest
Vice President of Communication
Favorite Passtime: Recording Music
I was born in Philly but grew up mostly in Maryland. Being half Taiwanese I've spent many summers in Taiwan as well. I was originally going to be an engineer but biomedical engineering sparked my interest in medicine as a whole, so now I spend my days rounding in a hospital and looking at patient charts
